Hello!

 

My name is Brian Hamilton and I am a High School Teacher at Highlands Community Charter School.  I have been a part of Education over 15 years at various levels.  I served as a substitute teacher at all levels (K-12) for many years, I also served as a grade school teacher and a high school head varsity basketball coach. In addition, I founded Play Hard Play Smart Youth Development and served as the Director since 2002.  The last 3 years I have served as an High School Teacher here at Highlands, St. Rose campus.

 

Since being at Highlands, I have been able to utilize skills and prior experiences that I have learned over  the years in education to support our students in any way possible. In my current class, I am able to foster great teacher to student relationships, as well as cultivate a comfortable and conducive learning environment. It is a joy and pleasure to help our students in attaining their High School Diploma and achieving their future career goals.
