About me

Hello! I'm an English Language Development teacher here at Highlands. I started teaching several years ago in Korea and I've never looked back. I'm from Oregon and I have taught English in Korea and Vietnam. I moved to Sacramento in the summer of 2019 to teach at Highlands.

 

The most important thing for me as a teacher is also the most important thing for me as a person. Good relationships with the people around me. It's my job to give my students the tools they need to take them wherever they want to go. I can only do that if I know who I am teaching and what they want. We are here to serve our students and they are the ones who will tell us how to do that. 

 

English is hard! That's OK! I do not promise my class will be easy. I promise I will help to make learning English a challenge you can meet and I will work as hard as you do.
