About Me

 

         My name is Sergey Ivanyuk, and I'm a California Credentialed CTE instructor specializing in the truck driving program at Industrial Parkway. My role encompasses teaching students and developing and maintaining the curriculum in compliance with industry standards, best practices, and federal regulations.

 

With over a decade of experience in the trucking industry, I had a successful truck-driving business when Highlands was in its early stages. A friend, recognizing my abilities and expertise, invited me to join the Highlands Truck Driving Program. As someone who always aspired to be a teacher, I gladly accepted the opportunity and have been thrilled to witness the growth and success of Highlands over time.

 

Our program is designed to provide comprehensive training to high school students, equipping them with the necessary skills to operate commercial vehicles. By the end of the program, our students graduate with a sense of accomplishment, holding not only a high school diploma but also a Class "A" license, along with assistance in securing employment. The Truck Driving Program at Highlands is a one-stop shop for those looking to start a career in this field.
