About me

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. 

 

I am a teacher here at Highlands. I currently teach a combined level 4 & 5 ELD class and Bridge at our St. Rose campus. I love teaching English and helping my students grow as readers, writers, and speakers of this amazing language we all share. I have taught ELD for almost 10 years, working with foreign college students in Portland, OR and Sacramento, elementary and middle school students in South Korea, and American college students at Sacramento State. But none of these experiences compares to the awesome and inspiring students I meet every day here at Highlands.   

 

When I'm not teaching I enjoy walking and hiking, reading, and watching sci-fi movies. I love to travel and try cuisine from around the world! I also enjoy time with my family but, as my grandmother always says, "All things in moderation." See you in class!
