About Me
Hello! My name is Vicki Neal and I've been teaching at Highlands Community Charter School since 2016. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I continue to learn and grow as a teacher every day. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in TESOL from BYU-Hawaii and my Master's Degree in TESOL from CSUS. And I currently hold an Adult Education Clear Credential.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four teenage kids. We love to travel, experience new things, and try new food. I also love reading, cooking, baking, and working on projects.
I teach both a Low Beginning and High Begining ELD class at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. I'm also currently a Facilitator in the EdTech Professional Learning Community at HCCTS and I welcome the challenge to problem solve along with my colleagues in the EdTech team. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy being creative, innovative, and fun in the classroom.
