My teaching philosophy: Compassion and empowerment as pedagogy.  TEACH WITH COMPASSION! 

 

I believe in caring for and about the people I serve, accompanying learners, and bringing learning into real life (connect learning with real life).  I practice rapport building (individually and with the community), connecting with others, listening and promoting learners' voices, creating a safe space and environment for learners to explore, share their thoughts and experiences, make mistakes, learn and grow individually as well as collectively.  Furthermore, I emphasize  (students')learners' SUCCESS first, encourage student engagement and empowerment building confidence and efficacy for all learners.  I don't believe in feeding fables, but rather, I believe in teaching with honesty. 

 

Education is an ongoing endeavor - savour it!
