I am an English Language Development teacher with a passion for cross-cultural learning, communicative teaching, and identify affirming teaching. I strive to display my passion each and every day I step foot in a classroom. I studied English as an undergraduate and I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
I believe that learning never ends and no matter your age or circumstance there’s always something you can learn from someone. Over the years I’ve learned that the people I least expect to inform my decisions or change my perspective have taught me the most about myself, others, and the world.
One of my favorite hobbies is learning about life in other countries. This passion has led me to explore thirteen countries, immerse myself in various communities, and gain a broader perspective of the world, which has positively changed my life. All of these experiences have equipped me to better serve my students and enhance their learning experience and outcomes.
