Hi there! I am Oksana and I am an Instructional Paraeducator ELD at Highlands Community Charter School.

 

I've been living in America since May 2018. And I've been working at Highlands Community Charter School since February 2020.

 

It’s so great to work here, to find friends, to help people who need my help! I enjoy spending time with my coworkers. I am glad to be a small part of such a great organization!

 

There are students at Highlands from countries from around the world. It is one of the things that makes Highlands so special. I am an immigrant. And I know how important for immigrants to feel a successful person in a foreign country.  Every immigrant needs to feel useful and important for society. We need to be successful in America for the sake of our children. Succesful parents - successful children. And this is what our school does. It gives students great opportunities to receive a good education in the United States.
