Making our world more productive - Linde  Linde is collaborating with Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools to offer a unique opportunity for students to spark a new career in welding!   The Program Includes: → Full Scholarships to Train 20 New Welders: Books, Materials, Equipment Package, and Support for Welding Testing Fees in an Accelerated One-Year Program → Continuing Education Grants for Existing Welders to Build Skills → Professional Development Opportunities → Instructorships   The Linde Skills PipelineTM program provides funding to train 20 new welders in the pilot program featuring an accelerated one-year curriculum. Along with establishing the new Linde welding lab at Highlands, the program provides funds for instructor training, continuing education for existing welders, and professional development opportunities.   Linde is proud of the California expansion of this community engagement program, which was developed to meet the strong demand for skilled welders and is an example of the company’s continued commitment to developing a robust pipeline of men and women in the skilled trades.   Welding offers great career potential! Welders in the Sacramento area typically earn $53,000 per year (Source: Employment Development Department)   The program will be offered at Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools. (There is no additional cost to you for these tests.)     Cohort Start: March 28, 2023  Day Class Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm   Evening Class Tuesday – Friday 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and every 2nd and 4th Saturday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
